Statice, also called sea lavender or marsh-rosemary, is an plant recognized for its papery, long-lasting flowers that are commonly used in dried flower arrangements due to their ability to retain colour and shape. These flowers come in a range of shades including pink, purple, blue, lavender, white, and sometimes variations within these colours, offering a delightful mix of pastel tones. Please note: Statice may not be planted in the Western and Nothern Cape provinces of South Africa. (According to the NEMBA Act 10 of 2004, The Alien and Invasive Species (AIS) Regulations and National List of Invasive Species lists Statice, Limonium sinuatum (L.) Mill as an alien invader in Western and Northern Cape.)
