Texas Grano 502 PRR is a medium to late maturing short day brown onion. It exhibits intermediate resistance to Pink root (Pt), a well known onion disease in South Africa. The bulbs are uniform with a flattened globe shape. Texas Grano’s scales display a delicate, smooth, and yellow appearance. Texas Grano 502 PRR is a very high yielder and it is suitable to grow in most soil types.
