Basil

Basil leaves are vibrant green, oval-shaped, and often pointed at the ends. They’re smooth and slightly glossy with a serrated edge. Basil thrives in warm climates with well-draining soil and plenty of sunlight. Leaves can be harvested throughout the growing season by pinching off the tops to encourage bushier growth.
